Jacki Martin is an educator and Christian author. She taught for 40 years, and is listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers ('96, '98, '04, '05, and ‘06).

She is a thirteen-year cancer survivor, who continues to experiences God's compassion, peace and JOY as He lovingly carries her through her ever-changing, daily challenges.

Jacki, and her husband, Dick, started GOLDEN SPLENDOR Ministries after caring for his mother in their home for five years, and then, closely witnessing the needs, and loss of HOPE of her own parents. Dick and Jacki both saw a need for practical resources that could be used to share God's good news in compelling ways, and instill HOPE in those who are seeking the Truth about life's purpose.

Dick is also an educator, and president of the Board of Directors of Western Independence Living Foundation (Jacki serves with Dick as a trustee and working member of the Board of WIL.) The Foundation promotes improvement of independent living skills for the elderly and physically impaired individuals. Resources of GOLDEN SPLENDOR Ministries are now also being used by the WIL Foundation to encourage clients to live their lives to the fullest.

Dick and Jacki also own and operate MEGASIGHT Publishing. The prime function of the company is to convert documents, such as menus, into large print and Braille. The Cheesecake Factory has been using their Braille menus nationwide for many years.
